Lyme Army Rallies at CDC Over Disease Definition

Nearly one hundred people, many with the Lyme disease, attended a protest outside of CDC headquarters to raise awareness of the CDC’s mis-handling of this public health threat and protest the CDC’s definition of chronic Lyme disease.

“This organization is designed to protect the public, not to hinder and harm us and they’re harming us,” said Mirenda Campirano, who attended the rally from Brownsville, Texas.
